Boregaon Dam

Rajhans Paryatan Sthal or Boregaon Dam is a beautiful destination to visit for tourists. It is a great place for picnic and hangout with families. The place has also become lovers point as so many couples are seen here spending time together. This amazing spot is situated just 5 km away from the city. Children just love to crawl into this part of the city as it offers loads of amusement activities and rides. Chintamani Temple

Better known as Shri Chintamani Temple, is a hotspot for the Hindu devotees. People believe that Lord Ganesha erases all the worries and pain. This is a famous religious spot in Yavatmal. An annual fair is organized to celebrate the power of Lord Ganesha. Private taxis are there to help you reach this destination.

Jagat Temple

Situated in Umarsara Area, Jagat Temple attracts the devotees of Lord Visnhu. The temple is considered as very pious. You can hire autos, taxis and buses to reach the spot.

Jamwadi

Jamwadi is a place full of natural beauty. It is 12 km away from the city and close to Boregaon Dam. Reaching this place is not at all difficult as it is located near main road. It consists of a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.  Autos, buses and taxis are popular modes of transportation to reach this destination.

Painganga Sanctuary

It is one of the most popular sanctuaries of Maharashtra. The region is mostly low undulating terrain separated by a wide valley. This nature reserve consists of Bears, Cheetahs, Tigers, Nilgai, Sambars, Monkeys, Jackals, Langurs, Panthers, Chital, Wolves, Hyena etc. The Forest Department of India maintains this natural habitat.

Khojochi Mosque

It is a very pious destination for Muslim devotees. This is an ancient mosque built to show the dedication of people towards Allah. Offering prayer by large number of people is quite common here. Buses, taxis and autos are easily available to reach the destination.

Mahadev Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts large number of devotees from far across the planet. This is an ancient Hemadpanthi temple of Kedareshvar, believed to be 1100 years old. This divine spot is situated in the center of the town and houses the Kedareshvara shrine that is of great importance and antiquity. The sabha mandap inside the temple was designed in 1915. The temple is of great architectural value. The entrance is designed beautifully and has a large linga symbol. Nandi structure is installed in front of it. All the common modes of transportation are available to reach the place.

Prerna Sthal

This spot was designed in the memory of late Jawaharlal Darda, a great freedom fighter. It is no doubt one of the most favorite tourist attractions. It stretches over an area of about 80,000 feet. The structure was designed by Chirag Jain. Tall teak tress and greenery around the sthal makes the place more attractive and charming.

Rangnath Swami Temple

This famous temple attracts thousands of pilgrims. This pious structure is dedicated to Shri Rangnath Swami, a notable saint. Both private taxis and buses are available to visit the spot.

Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary

It is one of the most popular tourist spots of Yavatmal. It stretches over an area of 148.63-sq-km. many villages surround the sanctuary and they due to this natural treasure like timber, firewood, bamboo are at great risk of extinction. Various types of animals like bison, antelopes, blue bull, deer, panther, tiger, wild boar are found here.
